Coaching and Mentoring has a key role to play in addressing leadership skills gap, and the challenges of job creation and poverty alleviation. Properly structured and well executed Coaching and Mentoring programs assist individuals to correctly define and pursue their goals and make integration into a group or organization smoother and speedier. Coaching and Mentoring offers measurable benefits within a defined time frame, ensuring an acceptable return on investment for all concerned. Tenmud thus has taken cognoscente of the SMME mentoring and training aspect and amongst other obligations our professionals are responsible for:
• Supporting the design and planning of entrepreneurship and SMME development and support components of the project
• Managing the implementation of entrepreneurship and SMME development and support components of the project
• Supporting the design and planning of overall training programme for the project
• Undertaking a market assessment of training needs and market demands for entrepreneurship training
• Identifying specific training needs for components of the project
• Supporting the design of the overall training programme
• Designing training activities and plans, training materials and tools, pre- and post-tests
• Delivering training programs with support of other team members
• Identifying needs for start-up packages for entrepreneurs and support the design and implementation of this component
• Identifying gaps and support the design and delivery of business development services for entrepreneurs
• Drafting reports on completion of project activities and inputs into narrative project reports
• Drafting, monitoring, and managing activity budgets for entrepreneurship and training components of the project with support/oversight from Programme Director
• Supporting the design and implementation of the monitoring framework and plan as it relates to entrepreneurship components of the project
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with relevant local stakeholders related to entrepreneurship components of the project
